Study Summary:

Do you have gout? Have you also had a heart attack, bypass surgery, angioplasty, stenting, blocked arteries to the heart or legs, stroke, and/or do you have diabetes? If you answered “yes” to both of these questions, you may qualify to participate in a clinical research study.


Qualified Participants Must:

• If male, be at least 50 years of age
• If female, be at least 55 years of age and be at least 2 years post menopause
• Have been diagnosed with gout
• Have a history of heart attack, bypass surgery, angioplasty, stenting, blocked arteries to the heart or legs, stroke, and/or diabetes


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Participants will receive study-related medications, study-related physical exams, and study-related blood tests at no cost. Participants will also be paid $50-$100 per visit for study participation.
