Study Summary:

A multicenter, double-blind, phase 2 study to evaluate the effect of Febuxostat versus placebo on renal function in Gout subjects with hyperuricemia and moderate to severe renal impairment.

Qualified Participants Must:

• If male, be 18 years of age or older
• If female, be 45 years of age or older
• Have a history of Gout
• Not have a history of Hepatitis or HIV
• Not have end stage renal disease
• Not have a history of cancer

Qualified Participants May Receive:

All study-related medications and exams free of charge, including all lab work, and compensation for time and travel.
