Clinical Trial 11100

Santa Ana, CA 92705

Study Summary:

Pediatric Fibromyalgia: Do the painful symptoms of fibromyalgia isolate your child from everyday activities?

Children with fibromyalgia may experience significant pain, suffering, and disability which often results in loss of function, feelings of isolation and decreased quality of life.

Medical researchers are enrolling children in a clinical study for the treatment of fibromyalgia. Participants will be seen by a study physician who understands fibromyalgia for the duration of the study.

If your child takes part in this research study, they will attend 6 clinic visits over a 17-week period. If qualified, your child will receive the study medication or placebo (an inactive look-alike pill) and study-related care at no cost. You may also be compensated for time and travel.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 12-16 years of age
• Be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Have experienced widespread pain for 3 or more months
• Meet all study criteria
