Study Summary:

A 12-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of Asimadoline in subjects with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (D-IBS).


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be fluent in English
• Have had D-IBS symptoms for at least 6 months
• Have abdominal pain or discomfort at least 3 days per months in the past 3 months
• Have an average of 4 diarrhea stools per days/28 per week


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Free treatment and medication and may be reimbursed for time and travel.
