Study Summary:
This study is being conducted to evaluate the long term safety and effectiveness of an extended-release tablet of a drug that is currently on the market for the treatment of chronic pain. If you qualify for participation in this study, your participation would last approximately 60 weeks and you would be required to make about 17-18 office visits to our clinic.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 18 years of age or older
•
Have pain for 3+ hours a day, everyday, for the last 3 months
•
Be currently taking a pain medication (over the counter or prescription) for your pain
Qualified Participants May Receive:
If you qualify for the study you will receive study medication, physical exams, lab tests and other medical tests as necessary for the completion of the study, at no cost to you. As a qualified participant you will be compensated $40.00 per visit for your time and travel.
