Study Summary:

Male Volunteers needed for a Low Testosterone medical research study

Coastal Carolina Research Center is seeking male volunteers for a low testosterone medical research study. We will be evaluating the effectiveness of an investigational medication that is delivered with a nasal dispenser for the symptoms of low testosterone. If you suffer or think you may suffer from low testosterone symptoms you may qualify.

Some of the symptoms associated with low testosterone include:

  • Low energy and general fatigue
  • Low sex drive
  • Mood problems or depression
  • Loss of muscle mass
  • Increase of weight
  • Hair loss
  • More difficulty concentrating
  • General lack of motivation even to do the things you normally enjoy

To be considered for participation in this research study, you must be 18 to 80 years of age and meet all the study’s entry criteria, including low testosterone levels determined by a lab test. If you are eligible and decide to participate, you can expect a minimum of 6 to 7 office visits over approximately 16 weeks. Qualified participants may be able to continue with additional visits over a longer period of time.

Qualified participants will receive all study related care at no cost including:
  • Study medication
  • Physical Exams
  • Nasal exam by a ENT physician
  • Lab work
  • ECG
  • DEXA bone density scans
  • 2 overnight stays of 24 hours
Monetary compensation is available for time and travel expenses.
