Study Summary:

SPRI Clinical Trials is conducting a research study for people with depression. This is a multicenter, double-blind, randomized, parallel-group, placebo-controlled Phase III study on the efficacy and safety of Quetiapine Fumarate Sustained-release (SEROQUEL®) as monotherapy in the treatment of patients with major depressive disorder.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 18-65 years of age
• Be feeling down and depressed
• Have lost interest in your normal activities
• Have lost your appetite
• Have difficulty sleeping

Qualified Participants May Receive:
