Study Summary:

A multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study assessing the occurrence of major adverse cardiovascular events (mace) in overweight and obese subjects with cardiovascular risk factors receiving naltrexone sr/bupropion sr.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be female, 50 years or older
• Be male, 45 years or older
• Have a BMI 27-50
• Have history of/current cardiovascular disease
• Be at high risk i.e. diabetes type two with two of the following:

  • Hypertension
  • Dyslipidemia
  • low cholesterol
  • current tobacco smoker

Qualified Participants May Receive:

study drug or placebo study related lab work, up to $840 compensation and weight management program
