Study Summary:

This study is evaluating a reduced hormone birth control pill. It is an Open Label Safety and Efficacy Study of a New Low Dose Oral Contraceptive. The treatment will last for 13 cycles. All qualified subjects receive the active oral contraceptive. This is a 13 cycle, 8 clinic visit study. The OB/GYN clinician is seen at visits 1 and 8. Most visits (2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7) are short visits meeting with the study coordinator.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18-45 years of age
• Be willing to use the study drug as primary contraception. Back up methods are allowed in the event pills are missed at dosing and for other reasons (taking a contradictory medication - antibiotics)
• Have normal 21-35 day scheduled menstrual cycles. Contact the study site for more detailed qualifications.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study medication for 13 cycles, study related exams, laboratory work including PAP smears, time and travel compensation up to $275.00
