Study Summary:

As a part of national project, we are conducting a study to test the ability of an FDA approved novel antipsychotic medication, to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease in a Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective population with high cholesterol. This study will last 6 months.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18 to 65 years of age
• Have Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective disorder
• Be on only one oral antipsychotic (Olanzapine, Risperidone or Seroquel)
• Have high cholesterol site stats

Qualified Participants May Receive:

• Professional medical care at no cost
• Physical exam and diagnostic tests at no cost
• ECG, lab work, and all other procedures at no cost
• Optimization of care at no cost
• Compensation for time and travel is available as well
