Study Summary:

The medical term for painful periods is: Dysmenorrhea. Many women suffer from Painful periods. This is a double blind, randomized trial. Some women will receive an investigational study drug. Some women will receive a placebo. This study is being conducted to determine if the use of the investigational natural product made of five traditional Chinese herbs can reduce or cure the pain and cramping caused by menstruation. Clinical studies in China have demonstrated that the product is effective in treating painful periods. Millions of Chinese women have used it for years without any serious side effects.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18 to 45 years of age
• Have had dysmenorrhea for at least 2 months
• Have a history of normal menstrual cycles for the past six months
• Have not had any hormonal injections or used an IUD in the past six months
• Have no other secondary pelvic diagnoses causing your menstrual pain
• Be pregnant or planning to become pregnant over the 8 months from screening/start
• Other study parameters apply
