Study Summary:

A Phase III, multicenter, double-blind, eandomized study for patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and inadequate glucose control (HbA1C ≥6.5 and ≤9.0%) on a stable dose of metformin ≥ 1500 mg/day (for at least 12 weeks).

Fase III estudio para pacientes con Diabetes tipo 2 que usan 1500mg o mas de Metformin y no tengan control de la azucar.


Qualified Participants Must:

• 18 Years and older
• Be diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes mellitus
• Be on a stable dose of metformin (≥1500 mg/day) for at least 12 weeks with inadequate glycemic control
• If female of reproductive potential agree to remain abstinent


Qualified Participants May Receive:

All study drug medication, glucometer, medical care at no cost and compensation for time and travel.
