Study Summary:
Are you living with pain after Shingles (postherpetic neuralgia?)
The symptoms of post herpetic neuralgia (PHN) can be debilitating. The deep, burning pain and extreme skin sensitivity can greatly impact the quality of your life, and often leads to other problems, like depression.
We are conducting an investigational research study of an oral treatment called pregabalin to relieve the pain and many symptoms of PHN.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
•
Have experienced persistent pain for more than three months after an episode of Shingles (herpes zoster skin rash) has healed
•
Be willing and able to comply with a treatment plan which includes scheduled medical appointments, laboratory tests and completion of pain diaries and study-related questionnaires
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study medication and all study-related physical exams and laboratory tests at no cost.
