Clinical Trial 16504

Salt Lake City, UT 84102

Study Summary:

Do you frequently get cramps, discomfort, and diarrhea? Do the symptoms seem to come and go randomly and aren’t something you can pin down to a specific food, drink, medication, or menstrual cycle? You could be one of the estimated 20% of Americans who have Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

This study is evaluating a brand new medication for the treatment of IBS. The medication works by staying in the intestinal track and slowing down the speed the bowels move. It also self regulates to prevent medication related constipation. Current use of medications does not exclude you from participating.
