Study Summary:

Do you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or faint when you stand up? These are symptoms of orthostatic hypotension.

The purpose of this study is to see if midodrine HCI is safe and effective when compared to placebo.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be currently taking Midodrine HCI (Proamatine) for symptomatic orthostatic hypotension
• Be willing to complete between 5 to 9 overnight stays throughout the study

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Compensation for time and travel will be provided.

SHIRE will provide travel arrangements (air, lodging, ground transportation) for out of area volunteers.
