Study Summary:

Researchers are conducting a study in local clinics on the safety and effectiveness of an investigational oral medication for diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome. You may be able to take part – and help other IBS-D sufferers like you in the future.

Participants who have been experiencing symptoms of diarrhea-predominant IBS for at least 6 months will complete a detailed questionnaire, go through a screening phase, a 4-week dosing period, and take part in a 2-week follow-up phase. Participants who complete the study will receive study medications and care at no charge during the trial. Compensation for travel expenses may be available.
