Study Summary:

A clinical research study evaluating a new investigational blood-thinning medication designed to reduce the risk of blood clot formation that can lead to stroke.


Qualified Participants Must:

• 1. Diagnosed with Atrial fibrillation (Irregular heart beat)
• 2. Have had prior stroke, transient ischemic attack (TIA or mini-stroke) or other type of blood clot originating in the heart
AND / OR have two or more of the following risk factors

    a) Age 75years or older
    b) High blood pressure
    c) Heart failure signs and symptoms
    d) Diabetes


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study participants will receive study medications and related medical care at no cost. Compensation is provided.
