Study Summary:

Got Knee Pain? Don't take osteoarthritis sitting down. Local researchers are studying an investigational medication for relief of pain due to osteoarthritis of the knee.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 50 years of age or older
• Have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the knee
• Have been taking pain medication for osteoarthritis for at least 6 weeks. *You need to have been on a stable dose of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs), COX-2 inhibitors or other oral analgesic therapy. NSAIDs include over-the-counter medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen. COX-2 inhibitors are a category of NSAIDs.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

All study-related medical care and diagnostic testing will be provided at no cost to you. You may also be compensated for you time and travel expenses.
