Study Summary:

This is a single-center, randomized, and pharmacokinetics of escalating multiple doses of ICA-105665 in healthy male and female patients with epilepsy.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Have had at least one seizure in the last year
• Be taking one or two anti-epileptic medications
• Be male or female ages 18-45
• Have a body mass index of 18.6-29.9
• Be a nonsmoker for at least 6 months prior to the study
• Need to have a proven diagnosis of greater than or equal to a year prior to check-in of simple or complex partial seizures verified by an historical EEG consistent with partial epilepsy or MRI consistent with a lesion associated with epilepsy
• Be able to bring in a copy of the EEG or MRI to the screening appointment

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Up to $2150 in compensation. This study does not provide any treatment or medical benefit to the patients. This study is looking at the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of the medication
