Clinical Trial 36424

NATIONWIDE

Summary:

Do You Have Atrial Fibrillation?

Local physicians are conducting The CONVERGE Study, a clinical research opportunity for patients with Atrial Fibrillation. The purpose of the CONVERGE clinical trial is to establish the safety and efficacy of the Convergent Procedure, a “hybrid” approach that combines two AFib treatments into one therapy for persistent AFib patients.

You may qualify for the CONVERGE Study if:

  • You are between 18 and 80 years of age
  • You have experienced persistent AFib symptoms
  • You have taken heart medications (antiarrhythmic drugs) that are not working
  • You are willing and able to receive the study-related procedures and attend follow-up visits.
The surgical and catheter procedure, and the devices used in this investigation will be billed to the patient’s health insurance.

If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation, consider participating in the CONVERGE Study.

Clinical trials are medical research studies designed to test the safety and/or effectiveness of new investigational drugs, devices, or treatments in humans.
