Summary:
Northern California Research is conducting an acne study for people with moderate to severe acne. In this study we are seeking FDA approval for a new medication to treat acne. Acne vulgaris is a common skin disease of both males and females, most commonly occurring in adolescence. The purpose of this research study is to see if using the study medication (applied on the skin) will reduce the number of facial acne lesions (pimples), as well as to assess the safety of the study medication during 12 weeks (4 months) of use.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be 9 years of age or older
Be in good general health
Have facial acne, at least 20 inflammatory lesions (pimples)
Be willing to refrain from using any treatments for acne vulgaris, other than the investigational product, including topical or systemic antibiotics
Qualified Participants May Receive:
All study related procedures and medication will be provided free of cost. You may also receive compensation for your participation.
