Summary:
Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is liver inflammation caused by a buildup of fat in the liver.
If you have a condition called compensated cirrhosis from NASH, Wake Research Associates is enrolling volunteers in a study testing the effectiveness, tolerability and safety of an investigational medication.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be between 18 and 70 years of age
Have compensated cirrhosis
Have a history of NASH confirmed by a liver biopsy
Qualified Participants May Receive:
- Study-related medication at no cost
- Study-related medical exams at no cost
- Compensation of up to $1875 for time and travel
