Research has shown that genes can make some people more likely to develop Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Related Disorders (Hoarding Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder,Hair Pulling Disorder/Trichotillomania and Skin Picking Disorder/ Excoriation Disorder). Some of the goals of our study is to identify these genes.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 7 years of age or older
• Have symptoms or a diagnosis of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Related Disorders (Hoarding Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder,Hair Pulling Disorder/Trichotillomania and Skin Picking Disorder/Excoriation Disorder)


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Participation involves:
1) Completing 3 screening questionnaires on personal, family health history and symptoms experienced.
2) Being interviewed by a clinician about your symptoms
3) Giving a small blood sample (about 3 tablespoons)
4) Be compensated for your time and effort
