Summary:
One in four people in the United States have fatty livers, but no standard treatments currently exist. Risk factors include obesity, gastric bypass surgery, high cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes. Our team of board certified physicians is evaluating an investigational drug for people 18 years or older with fatty livers. Qualified volunteers in this research study will receive all study-related care at no cost and financial compensation may be provided for those who qualify and participate.
