Study Summary:

Are you among the more than 3 million African Americans who currently have asthma?

If so, you or your child could be eligible to participate in a nationwide research study about the treatment for asthma with an FDA approved medication.

Qualified Participants Must:

• You are an adult or adolescent (at least 12 years of age and with parental consent)
• You self-identify as Black and your ethnicity as African-American, West Indian, Caribbean or African
• You are taking a steroid inhaler for controlling inflammation in your lungs which is associated with asthma. There are many types of steroid inhalers. Some examples of steroid inhalers include: QVAR®, SYMBICORT®, Advair®, Asmanex®, Twisthaler® and Azmacort®

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Asthma related study treatment at no cost, and compensation for time and travel.
