Does Chronic Atopic Dermatitis Keep You Hidden? – Consider the JADE Clinical Research Studies
Atopic dermatitis (AD), also known as eczema, is a common, chronic, inflammatory skin disorder characterized by flaky skin lesions, intense itching, and a general deterioration in quality of life. If you or your child scratch helplessly at swollen, increasingly reddened skin or struggle to sleep because of atopic dermatitis, you know all too well that current options can have limitations. If you or a loved one has chronic moderate to severe AD you may want to learn more about the JADE Atopic Dermatitis studies. The purpose of the JADE Atopic Dermatitis studies is to learn if investigational medications may safely and effectively reduce the intensity or frequency of symptoms in patients with AD.
You may be eligible to participate in one of the JADE Atopic Dermatitis studies if you:
- Are 12 years or older
- Have been diagnosed with chronic moderate to severe Atopic Dermatitis for at least a year
- Have a recent history of inadequate response to treatment with topical medications
There are other requirements for participation in the studies that a study doctor and staff will explain to you in greater detail.
