Summary:

CONTEMPLATING YOUR CONTRACEPTIVE CHOICE?
The VeraCeptTM Study might be able to help. We’re seeking healthy volunteers to participate in a clinical research study evaluating the effectiveness of a hormone-free, low-dose copper, and flexible investigational intrauterine device (IUD) to prevent pregnancy.

OVERVIEW OF THE VERACEPT STUDY
Copper IUDs are a form of what’s known as long-acting reversible contraception (LARC). It is inserted into the uterus and stays there to prevent pregnancy continuously.

VeraCept is a different kind of copper IUD:
Contains less than half the copper than the available copper IUD frame intended for more flexible placement

In this study, researchers will further evaluate VeraCept’s long-term effectiveness at preventing pregnancy and any side effects.
