Pruritus causes intense skin itching and can be due to many reasons. Pruritus, or itch, is a common problem for patients with chronic renal failure or end stage renal disease.  

Local doctors at Washington Nephrology Associates are conducting a clinical research study to test the effectiveness of an investigational drug for Chronic Kidney Disease patients with pruritus.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be at least 18 years old or older
• Have been diagnosed with stage III, IV, or V CKD


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study-related care and medication will be provided to qualified participants. Compensation for time and travel may be available.
