Summary:

A clinical research study is being conducted for the treatment of persistent abdominal symptoms in adult celiac disease patients who are on a gluten free diet. You will participate in this study up to 12 weeks.


Qualified Participants Must:

• 18 years or older
• Have a body mass index (BMI) between 16 and 45

• Have an established diagnosis of Celiac Disease for 12 months or more as evidenced by medical records
• Have one of the following symptoms at least once per week or four times per month: abdominal pain, abdominal cramping, bloating, gas, diarrhea, loose stool, nausea or stomach ache during one month prior to screening
• Must be on a gluten-free diet for at least 12 months before screening and will remain on this diet for the duration of the study


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Investigational medication and study exams are at no cost.  Compensation for time and travel to the clinic will be provided.
