Summary:

LA Biomed invites couples to join a study of a birth control gel that contains testosterone.  The male partner applies the gel daily to the upper arm and has 2 years of monthly follow-up visits where he provides samples to monitor his sperm count. The female partner must be willing to use effective birth control until the gel reduces the male partner’s sperm count and has 11 in-person visits and 17 phone visits over 2 years.  This study is funded by the National Institutes of Health.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Healthy males 18-50 years
• Healthy females 18-35 years


Qualified Participants May Receive:

 Couples may receive up to $3375 over 2 years
