Summary:

Does Your Child Worry Too Much?

Everyone worries to some degree, but if your child or teenager experiences frequent or intense periods of worry, they may be suffering from an anxiety disorder.

Anxiety disorder is characterized by intense fear of social situations and excessive worry, feeling nervous or on edge, trouble separting from parents, sleep disturbance, trembling, sweating, shortness of breath, stomachaches, headaches

If your child or teenager shows signs of anxiety, he or she may be eligible for a research study of an investigational medication for anxiety.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between the ages of 7-17
• Experience a few symptoms of anxiety such as:

Fear of social situations and excessive worry, feeling nervous or on edge, trouble separting from parents, sleep disturbance, trembling, sweating, shortness of breath, stomachaches, headaches


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Compensation for their time and travel

Possible assistance with transportation to our office

Free study related medical visits and study medication
