Study Summary:

Duloxetine, a serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI), is FDA-approved and has been shown to be an effective treatment for major depressive disorder in numerous trials. This study compares duloxetine to other FDA-approved anti-depressants to determine whether any of these is more effective in the treatment of depression.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD)
• Not be pregnant
• Not have a serious medical condition
• Not be diagnosed as bipolar, schizophrenic, or schizoaffective


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study related evaluations, study medication, and associated care.
