Summary:
Click image to enlargeResearchers will evaluate an investigational drug to see if it is safe and well tolerated by men and women age 60 or older who have behavioral symptoms related to a disease of the nervous system, such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, or dementia. Each participant will be in the study for up to approxiamately four months. A 52-week extension study is available.
Qualified Participants Must:
Age 60 years and older
Have behavioral symptoms related to a disease of the nervous system
Require assistance with daily living activities
Not in hospice nor bedridden
Have a caregiver, relative, or other responsible person to accompany to study visits and assist with study compliance
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Investigational drug or placebo
All study-related care at no cost.
