Local doctors at Unity Clinical Research are seeking participants for a clinical research study testing the effectiveness and safety of an investigational add-on therapy to standard antidepressant treatment in adults with depression. 



Criteria:
  • Be at least 18 years old or older  

  • Have a clinical diagnosis of major depressive disorder (MDD)  

  • Are currently being treated with one of the following SSRI or SNRI antidepressants:  
    • Citalopram (Celexa)  

    • Desvenlafaxine (Khedezla, Pristiq) 

    • Duloxetine (Cymbalta, Irenka) 

    • Escitalopram (Lexapro) 

    • Fluoxetine (Prozac, Sarafem) 

    • Paroxetine (Pexeva, Paxil, Brisdelle) 

    • Sertraline (Zoloft) 

    • Venlafaxine/venlafaxine XR (Effexor, Effexor XR)  

  • Have had inadequate response to antidepressant treatment 


Qualified Participants May Receive:

All qualified participants will receive study-related care and may receive study drug at no cost. Compensation may be available as well.
