Depression Treatment Study In Staten Island, New York

A clinical research study in Staten Island is now enrolling volunteers diagnosed with depression.

About The Study
This study is testing the efficacy of an investigational medication for reducing depression symptoms for those who have a minimal response to current treatments. The investigational medicine will be tested against a placebo. Volunteers can expect to remain in the study for up to12 weeks.

Participation Requirements

  • Are between the ages of 18-64 years old
  • Are diagnosed with depression with anxious distress
  • Are currently taking an anti-depressant treatment for at least 6 continuous weeks
  • Have no history of alcohol abuse within the 6 months
  • Have no 1+ year diagnosis of psychotic disorders, MDD with psychosis, anorexia, bulimia, , bipolar disorder, or borderline personality disorder, or
  • Have not had significant suicidal ideation in the past 12 months
