 A clinical research study is being conducted to learn if an investigational medication given weekly will reduce future cardiovascular events in people who are overweight and have had a cardiovascular event or PAD.  One of the side effects of study medication is weight loss.

You will participate in this study for up to 59 months with 26 clinic visits.


Qualified Participants Must:

• 45 years of age or older
• Overweight or obese with BMI of 27 or greater
• Pre-diabetic, not taking any medications for the treatment of diabetes
• Have established CV disease, and experienced at least one of the following: Symptomatic poor circulation in the legs (PAD), or peripheral revascularization procedure, Heart Attack


Qualified Participants May Receive:

All study-related care, medication, and labs at no cost

Compensation for time and travel of $50 for ah completed visit
