Study Summary:

Insomnia: Driving Simulation Study

Study Description: Individuals between ages 30 and 75 who have difficulty maintaining sleep during middle-of-the-night are needed for a clinical research study of an investigational medication. This study involves laboratory-based driving simulation testing. Financial compensation of $5,600 for study completion along with no-cost study medication will be provided for qualified participants. Health insurance is not required and there is no cost for participation.

Time Commitment: Participants will have three separate overnight periods consisting of 7-days each at our facility in Midtown Manhattan.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Have experienced at least one hour of wakefulness after sleep onset for at least 3 nights per week over the past month
• Be between 30 and 75 years of age

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study-related medication and medical examinations at no cost, and compensation of $5,600 for completing the study.
