This study involves comparing an investigational (study) vaccine against a placebo (injection with no active ingredient)
to see if the vaccine can prevent COVID-19. The vaccine is given by injection.

COVID-19 is an illness caused by a new virus that can spread from person to person. This disease has spread across the world. Currently, there are no approved vaccines available to
prevent it. This COVID-19 vaccine study will enroll up to 30,000 adults, and each and every person involved plays a powerful role.  Every modern vaccine and medicine we have today was first tested in clinical trials involving hundreds to thousands of people before becoming available to the public.  Joining a clinical trial is an important and personal decision. Qualified Participants Must:

• 16-85 years old who are NOT pregnant or breastfeeding
• 16 -17 years old would require parental consent
• Ethnically Diverse Demography: Hispanic, African American, Asian, Native American
• In Good General Health
• Have not been previously diagnosed with COVID-19

Qualified Participants May Receive:

You will be randomly assigned (by chance) to receive either the study vaccine or placebo. This assignment will be made by a computer and not by the study team. Neither you nor the study
doctor will know if you are receiving the study vaccine or a placebo.

One half of the study participants will receive the study vaccine, and the other half will receive the placebo. You will receive 2 injections about 3 weeks apart. You also will be asked to record and
report any changes to your health over time using an eDiary device or via an App on your phone and have follow-up study visits.

The study consist of 6 clinic visit. For your time, effort, travel, and inconvenience related to your participation in this study, you will be paid in the amount of $120 per each completed clinic visit. In addition, You also will be paid $5.00 for each weekly illness diary completion for the duration of the study.
