Summary:

This study is being done to learn more about female patients who experience urinary tract infections. 

There is no placebo- all qualified participants will receive study medication or a FDA approved medication at no cost.   

The study length is 30 days.  The participant would visit the study site 4 times over the 30 days.  

1st visit is the longest visit, and takes about 2-4 hours.  The other 3 visits will take less 45 minutes.  



Participants must meet ALL study criteria prior to entering study.  Our staff will conduct phone prescreens, to review study criteria, prior to the patient visiting the site for the urine collection visit.  

Main criteria is: 

  • Are at least 12 years of age and not pregnant
  • Have had symptoms for 3 days or less
  • Not taking a prohibited medication
