Summary:

The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety (side effects) and amount of antibodies made after vaccination (immune response) in adults 65 years of age and older when an investigational pneumococcal vaccine is given at the same time as an influenza vaccine is given or when the investigational pneumococcal vaccine is given one month after an influenza vaccine.

Qualified participants must:

  • ~ Be 65+ years old
  • ~Have NOT received any influenza or pneumococcal vaccine within thepast 6 months

Qualified participants will receive:

  • Study-related vaccine at no cost
  • Study-related medical exams at no cost
  • Compensation for time and travel
