Summary:

A Clinical Study to Evaluate an Investigational Medicine in Adults who have Depression with Sleep Problems. If you join the study, you will be in it for about 10-12 weeks and visit the study doctor or clinical research staff approximately 7 times.

The purpose of this clinical research study is to determine the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medicine. This investigational medicine is being evaluated in people who have depression with sleep problems.

You may be able to participate in this study if you:
• are 18-74 years of age
• have been diagnosed with depression
• have taken antidepressants in the past that did not work well for you
• are currently taking an antidepressant medication but still have symptoms of depression
• have difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, or do not feel rested the next day.
Additional eligibility criteria will be assessed by the study doctor or staff during the screening process prior to being enrolled in the study and receiving any investigational medicine. Not all individuals may qualify to participate in the research.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

If you qualify to participate in this study you will receive free study related medication, free study related care and compensation of $79 per office visit.  We can also provide transportation to our office at no cost to you.  No Insurance is required to participate in our study.

There is also a possiblity that some visits after the second office visit can occur at your home with one of our research staff and you do not need to come into our office or some can be conducted remotely/virtually during specific visits during the study.
