Summary:

When a person suffers from acute back muscle spasms (involuntary tensing of the muscles), it can result in short-term pain that may last a few weeks. A clinical research study (RESUME) for adults with pain due to acute back muscle spasms is now enrolling participants.

The RESUME study is currently seeking volunteers to participate in a clinical research study to evaluate a new, non-opioid, investigational medication for patients suffering from back pain due to or associated with muscle spasms.



Criteria:
  • be  18 − 64 years of age.
  • be able to walk.
  • have sudden onset of back pain associated with muscle spasms not caused by a longterm (chronic) condition.
  • be willing to stop all other non-study provided medications or treatments for back pain/muscle spasms.
  • be willing and able to comply with scheduled visits and study procedures.
  • be immediately available and assessed to start receiving investigational medication.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

·         compensation for their time. Participation in RESUME is voluntary and study participants can leave at any time and for any reason.
