Clinical Trial 46432

Washington, DC 20059

Summary:

We are testing whether combining natural products from plants, and a new computer program that you can use at home, will help reduce your drug cravings and withdrawals, prevent drug relapses, and help you maintain longer recovery in drug treatment programs.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18 - 70 years in age
• Have a place to stay when receiving the treatment

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Every participant will receive a CBOT device or the control device. The App that comes with the device has instructions for treatment and contains cognitive tasks to help improve functions in brain regions associated with addiction. All participants will go through a short video on how to use the CBOT device or the control device. Every participant will receive the first intervention in the clinic by a technician. After 30 minutes of observation, participants will go home with the active CBOT device or the control device to be applied once daily over the next 3 months.  Each study participant will use the treatment once daily over a three-month period, while they are receiving their opioid prescriptions and medication education.

A participant could therefore receive up to $230 for completing all aspects of this study.

All participants will be given the option to use the CBOT device for free after successful completion of the study
