Summary:
We currently have Monotherapy and Adjunctive Schizophrenia studies that are enrolling for participants who have been on a stable Anti-psychotic medication for at least 3 weeks. )
Who is Qualified?:
- Participants who are generally healthy and between 18-80 years old.
- Participants who have been on an Anti-Psychotic medication for at least 3 weeks.
- Must have a study partner who can make it to the first visit and be available by phone after.
- Diagnosis of Schizophrenia at least 1 year.
- Insurance not required to qualify.
- Participants willing to stop current medication and replace it with study drug or add a medication to their current treatments.
Qualified Participants Can Receive:
- $100 in Compensation after each completed in-person appointment and $50 for phone call visits.
- Travel or gas reimbursement or a ride to visits after the first appointment is completed.
- Investigational medications at no cost.
- Free labs and blood work during the initial visit and through the study.
How long are these studies?
- $Studies can last up to 1 year with as many as 20 visits. The shortest study will be 16 weeks with 7 visits at our office in Oceanside.
- Studies are voluntary in the sense that you can stop at any moment; You are paid after each completed appointment along with reimbursed for travel.
- Each visit will be about an hour besides the initial screening visit which is normally 4-5 hours.
