Summary:
You are being asked to take part in this research study because you have diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain (DPNP).
This research study will be conducted by Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
If you decide to take part in this research study, you will be required to visit the study center 7 times within 15 weeks (this does not include any unscheduled visits that may be recommended by the study doctor). The study medication is an oral tablet.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Diagnosis of Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes with Polyneuroaphy or Neurpathy pain.
• Other criteria will apply and will be discussed.
Qualified Participants May Receive:
You will receive $50.00 for the screening visit (Visit 1) and $75.00 for each completed study visit (Visits 2-7). You will be paid after each completed study visit.
