Clinical Trial 46869

New Bedford, MA 02740

Summary:

Now Enrolling Participants Living With PTSD Symptoms

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a psychiatric disorder that affects millions of people each year. PTSD may occur after an individual experiences or witnesses a traumatic and threatening event such as an accident, natural disaster, combat, or form of violence.

If you are one of the 8% of Americans experiencing symptoms of PTSD, consider enrolling in a clinical research study. BTC of New Bedford is conducting a clinical research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational PTSD drug. Qualified participants will receive study-related care at no cost.

You may qualify for participation if you:

    • Are 18 to 65 years of age
    • Have been experiencing PTSD symptoms for at least 6 months (you do not have to be formally diagnosed with PTSD)

You may not qualify for participation if you:

    • Experienced the traumatic event leading to PTSD either before age 16 or more than 9 years ago
    • Are currently experiencing trauma
    • Have current or recent history of an anxiety disorder that has been the primary focus of psychiatric treatment

There are other qualifications needed for enrollment in this study. Study staff will discuss them with you after you apply for participation.
