Clinical Trial 47737

Winter Haven, FL 33880

Summary:

The purpose of this study is to see how CIN-107 works in treating rHTN. CIN-107 will be compared to placebo. A placebo looks like the study drug but does not contain any medication (active ingredient). Researchers use a placebo to see if a study drug works better or is safer than not taking anything at all.

The drug being studied in this research, CIN-107, blocks an enzyme called aldosterone synthase. This reduces aldosterone levels and may help lower blood pressure and help slow down heart, kidney, and blood vessel damage.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Have blood pressure readings above or equal to 140/80
• Must be taking at least 3 medications for blood pressure, including a diuretic
