Summary:
Do You Have Pain After A Total Knee Replacement?
After getting a total knee replacement, you can experience severe pain lasting months
or even years. This postoperative pain can make work, sleep, and mobility challenging.
Postoperative pain can be treated with opioids and other medications. Some of these
treatments may not relieve your pain, have side effects, or be misused.
A drug-free, minimally invasive treatment could help relieve your postoperative pain, improve
function and quality of life. You may be able to receive this short-term treatment through a
clinical research study.
You may be eligible to take part in this study if you:
- Are 21 years of age or older
- Have had a total knee replacement
- Have moderate-to-severe postoperative pain
- Meet other study requirements
The device and all study-related care are provided at no cost. You may also be paid a small
amount for your time and for completing study visits.
