Summary:

An Double blinded COPD with Chronic Bronchits study. Participation in the study is 55 weeks. It will involve 12 clinics visit and 1 follow-up phone call.



1. Subjects must be 40 years old and above

2. Subjects with medical records showing proof of an established diagnosis of COPD (according to GOLD 2020) at least 12 months before the screening visit, with chronic bronchitis (defined as productive cough for at least 3 months in each of the prior two consecutive years) and/or with chronic productive cough ≥12 months prior to screening. 

3. Current smokers or ex-smokers who quit smoking at least 6 months prior to screening visit.

4. Subjects on regular maintenance triple therapy (free or fixed combination of ICS, LABA, LAMA) according to GOLD 2020 recommendations, for at least 12 months prior to screening. ICS must be in an approved dose for COPD.

5. A symptomatic subject with an cooperative attitude and ability to be trained to use correctly the DPI inhalers (NEXThaler®).


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Patient will be compensated $100 per completed visit for time and travel.
