Are you or a loved one experiencing memory problems? Or have you or a loved one been diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment? You may be interested in an exciting new clinical trial in your area!

Our research team is looking to see if near-infrared light is an effective treatment to help improve memory and cognition in individuals who have cognitive impairment. This study requires frequent in office visits to the Charlestown location of Massachusetts General Hospital. Some visits can be done virtually. In the study you will undergo Neuropsychological testing, MRIs and a PET scan (optional), as well as an 8-week treatment phase.



Participants must:

·        Be between the ages of 65 and 85

·        Be able to identify a study partner to participate in a few virtual study visits

·        Have at least a high school diploma

Participants cannot:

·        Have another neurological diagnosis (ie. Parkinson’s Disease, brain tumor, history of stroke)

·        Have a family history of early onset Alzheimer’s Disease (diagnosis before age 60)


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Participants will be compensated up to $1525 for their participation!
